MicroSociety
Where leaders are made. Futures are built.
Financial Literacy Partnership
AMCS partners with the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta and Ed Fed to give students real-world financial literacy and hands-on banking experience.
These concepts connect directly to Eagle Bank, student jobs, entrepreneurship, and classroom-based economic simulations through MicroSociety learning.

Where Leaders Are Made. Futures Are Built.
At Atlantic Montessori, learning goes beyond the classroom! Through our MicroSociety, students in VPK–5th grade participate in a real-world, hands-on experience that builds confidence, responsibility, and leadership.

Responsibility Starts Here
Responsibilities Throughout Our School
From the front door to the classroom, AMCS students take on real responsibilities that keep our school community running. Our Safety Patrol team greets families, guides younger students, and models leadership every morning.
These everyday jobs — line leader, materials manager, bank teller, safety patrol — are the first steps in MicroSociety, where every child learns that their work matters and their community counts on them.
In Our MicroSociety Students Will:
- Hold real jobs
- Earn Eagle Bucks
- Run businesses
- Serve in student government
- Make laws & vote
- Practice financial literacy
- Build character
